GUIS-69 Universal Joint for Isuzu

Cross-type universal joints, also known as Cardan joints, are core components in the drivetrain of rear-wheel-drive vehicles, responsible for connecting the transmission output shaft and the differential input shaft. When the vehicle runs on bumpy roads, the suspension's vertical movement will change the angle and distance between the two shafts continuously. Cross-type U-joints can achieve flexible power transmission at angles up to 20 degrees, effectively solving the problem of power interruption caused by shaft misalignment. Most RWD models adopt a dual U-joint configuration combined with a drive shaft with sliding splines, which compensates for axial displacement during suspension compression or extension, ensuring stable torque output and reducing drivetrain vibration.
